1600 universal Type 1 engine case for 1968-71 Buses. Ideal for stock applications or to machine for a larger engine displacement.
1968-71 Bus Melling Heavy Duty Oil Pump
Cast iron construction, 38% larger gears than the original oil pump. Two different pumps available.
1968-71 Bus Kadron/Solex Dual Carb Kits (40 & 44's)
Available with or without electric chokes in either 40 or 44 size. All kits fit dual port Type 1 heads. Each kit includes carbs, air cleaners, manifolds, linkage and hardware. One of the most easy to install and set up dual carb kits available.
1968-71 Bus High Ratio Rocker Arm Set
Available in 1.25 & 1.40 ratio. Heat treated chromoly construction for strength and long life. Kit also comes complete with new chromoly rocker studs.
1968-71 Bus High Capacity Deep Oil Sump 3 1/2 qt
The big brother of our 1 1/2 qt sump, this sump holds 3 1/2 extra quarts of oil over the stock case, without affecting ground clearance. For 1600 engine cases, increases oil capacity, prevents oil starvation and helps cooling the engine oil. Kit includes all necessary hardware and oil pick up tubes in 3 sizes. For stock or performance applications.

Hi-Rev Performance Valve Springs (Set of 8)
Available in either single or dual spring, designed for high RPM Type 1 engines. Single springs have 135 lbs seat pressure at 1.55" installed height. Dual springs have 180 lbs seat pressure at 1.55" installed height.

Everything you need to reassemble your engine case and cylinder heads. Available for 8mm and 10mm case studs.
1968-71 Bus Engine Breast Plate Tin / Rear Engine Tin
New breastplate tin for 1600 and larger Type 1 engines. Applications for stock, no heat riser holes (for dual carb set up) and no fresh air. Shown is a non heat riser/no fresh air breast plate. Color = Black (chrome creates more engine heat, but is available upon request, give us a call)
